Warning for mobile broadband bandwidth

Mobile broadband UK users have been warned of using internet carefully to avoid excess usage of download limits. AT&T in US recently altered its tariffs to restrict users from enjoying unlimited download limit which meant that the customers must keep an eye on their usage.

A writer at broadband-expert.co.uk, Richard Patterson has laid down few guidelines wherein mobile broadband users can limit the download of their data.
According to Mr.Patterson, mobile broadband user must make sure that he chooses the latest version of the browser such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome etc, which would download the web pages faster.

Also it would be better if the browser's cache is cleared periodically whenever it is full. Otherwise it would slow down the browsing speed. Also one must make sure that he does not run any application or software that is not needed for that moment as it would take up bandwidth thus slowing down the speed. Also it would be better if any background applications are shut down and peer-to-peer software are diabled.

Mobile download limits may be exceeded if too much video is streamed. And this would create a major risk during the World cup sporting tournament.
