Upstream Customers Offered Revival by Vispa
It has been good news for the customers of the closing down UK broadband supplying firm Upstream Internet that a fresh offer was launched targeting them by a leading rival broadband provider operating in the United Kingdom. The broadband provider that has come up with the offer, Vispa has unveiled its free migration offer topped with free service for a month , for the existing subscribers of Upstream Internet. It is understood that Vispa had launched the offer following the spreading of the news that Upstream was planning for a closure owing to the lack of financial back up. As a matter of fact, it was reported by a leading pro-broadband website based in the United Kingdom that the news was broken by Eddie Chapman, the managing director of Upstream Internet, to businesses through an email. Meanwhile, the commercial director at Vispa, Adam Binks said to the website that the broadband provider was only pleased to go for the rescue. He added that his firm was having its engineers work hard to get the bonded broadband technology enabled on its own network, since they knew that it was a vital thing for the customers of Upstream. According to Binks, this could provide the Upstream base with continuity of service. Vispa that showcases an array of business and home broadband packages was launched in 1999.
