UK ISPs Use Twitter for Customer Service

Twitter LogoMore and more internet service providers in the United Kingdom, turns to Twitter, which has emerged very popular in the recent times, especially among businesses that have realised that there was more to it than mere tweets. These days, it is found that an increased number of ISPs were using Twitter.


 


A survey carried out on the context by a broadband website Top 10 Broadband UK, the two predominant internet service providers operating in the United Kingdom that were making the most of this latest online application, were Virgin Media and Be Broadband. The ISPs use the facility to improve their customer service, largely.


 


The other main broadband suppliers of the country who used Twitter most effectively were, TalkTalk, Vodafone, Orange, Plusnet, Post Office, O2, T-Mobile and BT.


 


As a matter of fact, the broadband suppliers used the service mostly to defend themselves, while the broadband users on the Twitter frequently complained about the quality of the service provided to them by the internet service providers.
