Twenty Thousand Avanti UK Customers to migrate to Hylas 1
Avanti UK, the leading satellite broadband provider operating in the United Kingdom has been reported to have already migrated five thousand of its broadband subscribers to its fresh satellite broadband service through Hylas 1 that is capable of providing the customers with download speeds of up to 10Mbps.
Apart form this, it is understood that the prominent UK satellite broadband provider would be moving a further twenty thousand customers to the fresh service in the next few weeks.
The Hylas 1 satellite, is exclusively a broadband satellite, launched by Avanti UK as its flagship rural broadband internet solution. This service offers rural broadband download speeds of upto 8Mbps, upload speeds of up to 2Mbps and a usage allowance of 10GB for GBP 60 a month.
Avanti UK had earlier this month launched a high-end broadband package list that target the rural and remote customers that required faster broadband internet access.
These broadband bundles floated by Avanti UK come at prices ranging from GBP 12 per month (VAT excluding) to GBP 199 a month (VAT excluding). The base deal is the Avanti Consumer 500 that offers up to 0.5 Mbps download speeds and 0.12Mbps upload speeds and the top end one is the Pro 8000 deal that comes with 8Mbps download speeds, 2.5 Mbps upload speeds and 25GB usage.
