Tooway Satellite Broaband of Eutelsat has gone Live on Tuesday
The prominent satellite broadband service provider operating in the United Kingdom, Tooway satellite broadband of Eutelsat has started airing its services that were being resold via retail internet service providers, in the United Kingdom on Tuesday.
The new satellite broadband service of Tooway offers the consumers in the United Kingdom regardless of their location, connection speeds of up to 10Mbps (download) and 4Mbps (upload), while it offers the businesses of the country download speed of 50Mbps and upload speed of 20Mbps.
The KA-SAT broadband satellite of Eutelsat offers satellite broadband coverage to parts of North Africa and the Middle East besides Europe. Businesses and residents of 82 locations - predominantly of a diameter of 250 km - are availed of the coverage.
The connectivity reportedly come through points of presence at spots such as Paris, Berlin and London. Meanwhile, the affiliate of Eutelsat, Skylogi will be selling through its networks, the wholesale satellite broadband services.
According to the director of Skylogic for northern Europe, Steve Petrie a starting price of approximately GBP 25 per month would be getting up to 6Mbps of download speeds and 1Mbps upload speed, making the service a reliable alternative for the consumers in the rural areas that can hardly get an affordable landline broadband link.
