Rural Broadband Issues Highlighted BY Means of Video By the B4RN Project

Many people are aware of the no-profit broadband project that has been set up called the B4RN which is the acronym for Broadband For Rural North. This venture had displayed via video clippings that they had uploaded, about what had occurred during its launch programme. For those people who do not know about this project, the B4RN venture anticipates that it can link a whole lot of homes in northern Lancashire with the high speed fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) facilities. It is believed that this facility would provide broadband speeds of 1Gbps. Their idea is also to make this service reasonably priced. To put it simply, the video recording that lasts for about thirty minutes is a programme wherein the CEO of B4RN Barry Forde makes a presentation. The contents of the presentation could be worth ones while as it offers the interested viewer a fairly good idea about the condition of broadband in the United Kingdom and stresses on the issues regarding why trying to roll out broadband in places that are hard to reach, rural and isolated could pose problems. This launch programme was held just about a couple of weeks back on 15th December the previous year.
