It has been reported that fourteen undergraduates pursuing their studies at the Oxford University were suspended from the university after allegations that they sent obcene emails to female students. The accused male students that are linked to Hertford college's Penguin drinking club that has attracted considerable notoreity, are also alleged to have set up a list anticipating potential dates. It has been further reported that the emails were stuck overnight around the college by an anonymous whistleblower. The posters revealed not only derogatory commentary about fresher female students but also the humiliating rituals carried out at the club that included forcing students to swallow raw squid and smearing them in goose fat before making them perform naked streaks. According to a spokesman of the university, the university was taking the allegations quite seriously as a probe has been launched as well. It is widely believed that with the digital explosion taking place effectively in the country, more such activities carried out over the internet could be witnessed around various institutions.
