Greenhithe Will Obtain High Speed Broadband Connectivity This Year
High speed broadband connectivity will be made available to the people living in Greenhithe by the summer of 2012.
British Telecom more popularly known as BT declared the previous week that Greenhithe would be able to access broadband speeds of up to 20 megabits per second towards the end of the year 2012.
This progress is delivered by BT as a part of the telecom stalwart’s dream of delivering fibre-optic broadband connectivity to two thirds of the UK by the end of the coming three years. This venture would cost the company an amount of 2.5 billion pounds.
John Weaver, the South East Regional Director of BT stated that no other company was doing more than BT was to provide quicker broadband accessibility throughout the south east.
He said that during this period of total economic instability, these significant enhancements would be a terrific encouragement for all the business houses in the locality and provide a lot of extra educational and entertainment options for the residents of Greenhithe.
The provision of the 20 megabits per second speeds that they would be receiving would be two time the speeds that the homes and the business enterprises were being provided with earlier in the county of Greenhithe.
