Gigaclear's CEO received recognition from Queen's Birthday Honours

The Founder and CEO of Gigaclear, Matthew Hare has received an recognition as OBE - Officer of the Order of the British Empire for Queen's Birthday Honours List 2018 last week for provision of internet service in the remote areas of the UK.

Those who made achievements, by helping the public and the community in the Britain in getting better life, by their services will be honoured by the honours system of the UK government. The achievers are being selected by the honours committee and the list will be sent to the Prime Minister. Finally they will be awarded by the Queen.

Gigaclear is an ultra fast rural fibre internet service provider since 2010 and the company has been given this honour for being successfully done installation of full fibre based FTTP broadband networks with the speed of 1 Gbps, even to very challenging rural areas of the UK. As of now, they covered more than 65000 premises in the areas of England and planning to reach about 3 lakh premises by the year 2021.

The awardee Matthew Hare said that he feel delighted for this great recognition of honour in getting his name in the list of Queen's Birthday Honours. This shows recognition not only for their past services but also for validating their vision to reach full fibre to the rural areas of Britain. Gigaclear is keenly working towards innovation and finding ways in deploying ultra fast networks to reach the isolated regions to digitally get connected with. Matthew thanked those communities who fought for getting connectivity, governments and his own company's team who worked along with him for this success. He feel proud to receive such an award.

To add at this moment, Gigaclear had been awarded as Best Rural Broadband Provider at the Internet Service Providers Association Awards last year.
