Giffgaff's bigger data for 4G Mobile Tariffs
One of the UK's mobile operators Giffgaff has announced that they have revised their 4G mobile range of goodybag plans for which the subscribers in most part will be given a bigger data for mobile broadband at no additional cost.
Giffgaff is an O2 based Mobile Virtual Network Operator. Their two basic goodybag plans will give the customers with double data allowances and their monthly plan of £20 has taken off its “always on” feature and made its data cap as 20 GB (the thing is that £25 needs to be payable if you want Always on feature).
The Always on feature on new plan of £25 has been increased with 20 GB data with full 4G speed (earlier it was 9GB) and after the usage of 20GB, you will get at a reduced speed of 384 Kbps.
There has been also made a change in the length of time for non recurring goodybags. The network provider is offering extra bonus day for to date in a calendar month (depends on the time of purchase). It will be effective from 11th July 2018. There are no changes for recurring and queued goodybags plans.
The following are the goodybag plans, earlier data and new data allowances:
£5 goodybag plan at Current Data 100Mb and New Data allowance is 500Mb (150 minutes, 500 texts)
£7.50 goodybag plan at Current Data 1Gb and New Data allowance is 2Gb (250 minutes, Unlimited texts)
£10 goodybag plan at Current Data 3Gb and New Data allowance is 3Gb (Unlimited minutes/ texts)
£12 goodybag plan at Current Data 4Gb and New Data allowance is 4Gb (Unlimited minutes/ texts)
£15 goodybag plan at Current Data 6Gb and New Data allowance is 8Gb (Unlimited minutes/ texts)
£20 goodybag plan earlier with Always on feature and now New Data allowance is 20GB (Unlimited minutes/ texts)
£25 goodybag of new plan with Always on feature (Unlimited minutes/ texts)
The plans that had been withdrawn are £18 goodybag with 9 Gb data and £5 goodybag with 500 Mb data.
