Free gadget with Vodafone UK home broadband packages
Vodafone UK has offered one of the four gadgets worth upto £200 for Free along with their superfast home broadband packages. The gadgets offered are
GoPro HERO Action Camera
Fitbit Charge 2 Fitness Wristband
Sonos Play:1 Wireless Speaker
Amazon Echo Smart Speaker
The customers, who subscribe for any of Vodafone's Superfast home broadband packages, can choose for any one of the above gadgets for free. But the thing is that the service provider has in recent hiked their prices for new customers, though the worth of gifts offered are comparably fair than the price hike.
As usual the customers of FTTC (VDSL2) packages will receive unlimited usage, a wireless router, phone line rental included, free F-Secure anti-virus software (upto 5 devices) for 6 months, parental controls and a minimum contract term of 18 months. Beyong this, if the subscriber does not have fixed line at home, then one time line provision charges of £60 is applicable. For new customers the monthly prices are higher by +£1 than existing customers.
With an average speed of 35 Mbps (guaranteed speed 25Mbps) at a price of £24 for existing mobile customers and £25 for new customers.
With an average speed of 63 Mbps (guaranteed speed 55Mbps) at a price of £29 for existing mobile customers and £30 for new customers.
The free gadget offer is valid from 1st August to 3rd September 2018 or till stock lasts. The monthly prices will increse by £3 after the first 18 months of contract term. It is to be noted that their product page says the packages will cost £9.99 as upfront charges for router delivery but in the order process it is showing still free.
