Fluidata joined hands with IFNL for the rollout of FTTH
1 GB FTTH (Fibre to the home) broadband connections is going to cover another more than 50,000 households and businesses in the UK. Fluidata, the broadband provider joined hands with IFNL (Independent Fibre Networks Limited) to create the new network and this network is expected to serve more than 20 cities in the UK.
In order to deliver ultra-fast broadband to customers, Fluidata’s national network will be connected into fibre infrastructure of IFNL. According to the firm, in the UK, it would be the biggest-scale rollout of up to 1 GB.
The Managing Director of Fluidata, Piers Daniel, mentioned that it is a giant step and FTTH is the most sensible and feasible option for the future. He continued that even with out Government hand-outs fibre can be commercially deployed and that is what the company is doing in rural communities.
The spokesperson of IFNL, Mr Andrew Robinson said that since 2008 to new housing developments, the company has been deploying FTTH technology. He added that IFNL connected households and businesses are provided with the best services. He continued that Fibre to the Home (FTTH) solution is the highest level of development. He also added that the firm is extremely happy to work with Fluidata as it will increase retail competition resulting in customers having many choices and best services.
