Cerberus Networks introduced FTTP packages of Openreach

Thursday, May 9th 2019

One of the ISPs in the UK Greenford based Cerberus Networks has recently informed that they become one of the ISPs to introduce 500 Mbps and 1 Gbps capable FTTP broadband packages of Openreach. Beyond this, they have also brought down the prices of their G.fast packages.

Openreach’s full fibre products were originally introduced in 2016 and only some ISPs have launched their products. The reason for lack of interest to adopt such products were additional demands in the service, high connection charges of £500 +vat and no network support available in some parts by Openreach FTTP network. Hence mostly ISPs have offered affordable tier of 330 Mbps package to their customers.

Irrespective of this, Cerberus Networks has now launched Openreach’s top tiers to their customers and also offer free activation if taken up for a 24 month contract and £48 as activation fee for 12 month contract. These tiers are focused on small businesses and would find it difficult to compete with 1Gbps package pricing with other ISPs that are offered to residential customers.

Cerberus FTTP XL: With a download speed of upto 500 Mbps and upload speeds of upto 165 Mbps offered at £187.20 Monthly with 12 Month Contract.

Cerberus FTTP Ultra: With a download speed of upto 1 Gbps and upload speeds of upto 220 Mbps offered at £259.20 Monthly with 12 Month Contract.

Other features include unlimited usage, 1, 4 or 8 IPs, Free Zyxel VMG3925 Wireless Router, NetSTATS monitoring and alerting, £48.00 MyCloud Voucher.

The ISP also introduced enhanced care packages for all Openreach-based services which includes 7 or 20 clock hour fix for faults, elevated best efforts throughput and one third-party (Qube) engineer visit per month at additional cost.

The ISP has given their G.fast packages at reduced prices which includes G.fast Pro upto 300/50 Mbps at £48 a month excluding line rental & £61.80 including line rental. If contract is taken for 24 months, free activation is offered, otherwise £124.80 on a 12 month contract. If a new phone line is required, then there is an installation chargeof £126.00 applicable.
Cerberus Networks’ Director - Bob Hendy said that since beginning in 2006, they have led their journey with innovative solutions. They have the proven track record in satisfying their customers’ needs on bandwidth, reliability or lesser prices with their ADSL2 to FTTP packages at present.
