According to the ‘Federation of Small Businesses’ in North Norfolk, the government should give prime importance to the provision of super fast broadband in the area.

The business communities have requested the government to do everything to make next generation broadband a reality in the place during the coming year.

The government has set aside GBP 530 million for catering to those areas of the country which are not in the list of the private players. It is committed to provision of the best super-fast broadband network of the European Continent to 90% of the properties. The remaining homes and businesses will be able to get download speeds of 2 Mbps.

Rob Whitwood, the vice president of the federation, spoke to the Eastern Daily Press that it is for the government to back investment in broadband networks. In view of the economic uncertainties prevailing, it is inevitable for the government to make available faster broadband in the area. That will definitely help the concerns to overcome the struggle which they are likely to experience. Business establishments are in need of an infrastructure which will help them to be in contact with the customers and business world such that they are able to grow.

Thus there is no doubt that superfast connectivity will do a lot of good for the region, especially the North Norfolk.
