The rural communities in the country will be soon getting an opportunity for availing the satellite broadband services.

Scotland based service provider, ‘Apogee Internet’ is intending to introduce satellite broadband services in the UK. The download speed is likely to be not less than 10 Mb.

According to reliable sources, the firm has entered into a distribution deal with ‘SES Astra’ for making use of its modern ‘ASTRA2Connect’ spacecraft to achieve its objective.

‘Rustyice Solutions’, which is the parent company of Apogee Internet, stated that all those without fixed line broadband access have hope for the future.

Paula Livingstone of Rustyice Solutions is pleased with the attitude of the company to meet the needs of the common people to be on par with those in other advanced parts of the country. It will benefit the residents, students, businesses and others in many ways. The distribution deal will be of great benefit to the firm in enhancing its business, apart from ensuring excellent internet connectivity for the customers, wherever they are in the UK. This is in fact a part of the long term policy of the company.

Incidentally, a week ago ‘BeyonDSL’, the leading satellite broadband internet service provider with speed as high as 4 Mbps entered into a deal with SES ASTRA IN spacecraft for providing broadband access for the customers.
