Satellite broadband 'can save consumers money

Saturday, May 1st 2010

By taking up satellite broadband services, experts say that consumers can save more on their communication cost.
The managing director of satellite broadband provider, Andrew Walwyn, proposed that devices like these will demand initial investment in hardware but people can very well cut down their spending in long run.  He added that consumers who obtain a local installer for the hardware can make use of the technology for £399 including VAT.
The typical running life of the kit being 5 years while the annual cost of the kit functions just at £80. Andrew challenges UK households with more than two people or even a family that they can save considerably more than that of £79.80 each year and will also be able to shop online for their utilities, insurance and even their weekly shopping.
Tariam presently offers a basic satellite deal with both modem and a satellite dish simply at £35 a month.
