Fibrecity, the so called fiber to the home service has declared plans to expand its coverage to another 5 towns in UK. The chief executive of i3 Group, the parent company of Fibrecity, Elfed Thomas exclaimed that this day marks a place in the history of the company to open up next generation internet connectivity for homes across UK. The company figures that over the year 2014, it might had plugged into one million homes and business with high speed service, featuring broadband connection of up to about 100mb. Fibrecity after rolling out its services in Dundee and Bournemouth, now offers coverage to Derby, Plymouth, Nottingham, Halton and York within next 12 months or so.
Over 35000 customers has adopted the newly created network that lead its way via the ulterior cloacae. To improve broadband connectivity speed for the areas already covered and speed up the process, the firm is looking forward to implement this method with added advantage of micro trenching or ducting.
