Wholesale arm of BT to get a new Chief Executive Officer

BT’s Wholesale arm will get a new Chief Executive Officer, once Sally Davis resigns from his post. Sally Davis has been serving for the company for four years and his post will be taken by Nigel Stagg. Ian Livingston, Chief Executive of BT said that Mr. Stagg has expertise that will benefit the firm and his role in various fields has showed great results. Nigel Stagg remarked BT whole as the heart of BT as they strengthen services used by business and residential customers. This business, supporting major telecoms providers in the UK offers returns of more than £4 billion annually, he added. The UK broadband providers such as TalkTalk, O2 and Sky have been provided with network accessibility by BT Wholesale. All these broadband providers have been using telephone exchanges of BT to supply broadband packages to the customers in the UK. Over, 15 million UK households are making use of broadband infrastructure of BT.
