BT Vision customers to pay for BBC and Channel 4

BT broadband customers who subscribe to its Video On Demand (VoD) service, BT Vision will need to pay £3 per month to access the videos on demand from Channel 4 or BBC.

The TV Replay Pack, as it is called, will provide high quality videos as against the low quality videos that will be available free of cost.

BT issued a statement in this regard:

"Although customers have been able to view them for free so far, due to technical issues, BT Vision has never highlighted this benefit in its marketing materials. Customers are, of course, able to watch BBC shows for free on their laptop or PC in lesser quality on the BBC iPlayer, in the usual way."
