Minimum Connection Speed guaranteed by BT

A fresh announcement by the prominent fixed-line internet service provider operating in the United Kingdom, BT, has revealed that business firms in the country that sign up for its freshly launched fibre optic business broadband service would be ensured a minimum internet access speed.

According to the announcement of the broadband provider, the UK businesses that chose to sign up for the ISP's new superfast business broadband packages, which delivers download speeds of up to 40Mbps, would also be guaranteed a 12Mbps stable thoroughput.

This information was given by a spokesman of BT in his talks with PC Pro. According to the confirmation given by him, BT would strive to correct any issue that threatened to stop the customers from receiving the new service.

The spokesman of the broadband providing company further said that at the instance of a drop of below 12Mbps in the thoroughput speed of a customer, the person is advised to contact the freephone helpdesk set up by the company that functioned on a 24/7 basis, and the ISP would remedy the shortcoming wasting no much time.

BT has been in news recently for launching a couple of value broadband services in the United Kingdom; a superfast fibre optic business broadband service and a home broadband service dubbed Infinity broadband package, targeting the residential customers.
