Fibre-broadband rollout delayed by BE
BE has announced a delay in the rollout of their Fibre-broadband services. As per the previous schedule, the services should have been out this year. More than thousand customers have already registered their service and this created a disappointed among them. In a recent blog post, the company suggested its delay in services.
The trail that involves participation from BE staffs requires installation of their equipment into local telephone exchanges. This will allow Fibre-based connection. However, it is uncertain whether the company will use full fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) connection or go for fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC) system.
To retain their reputation as a reliable and faster-broadband provider, they should act quickly and begin their roll-out. If the delay continues, BE could be left far behind in the Fibre broadband race.
