Chris Stening appointed New MD for Be Broadband
Be Broadband one of the popular internet service providers operating in the United Kingdom has reportedly appointed Chris Stening as its fresh managing director.
Stening has previously served Easynet Connect UK owned by BSkyB as the managing director. At Be Broadband, he replaces Tom Williams who left the firm in 2010 October. Although, the provider has made a sturdy position for itself in the market, Stening will be primarily focusing on broadening the wholesale presence of the company.
Stening said in a statement that BE Broadband enjoyed an excellent reputation in the consumer market and he looked forward to operating with Dan Cuncliffe, the compay's wholesale division head to develop the company's wholesale business.
Meanwhile, Felix Gehr of O2 lauded Stening emphasising his impressive credentials in the telecommunications market. He added that the energy and enthusiasm of Stening for success would be ensuring the continual growth of the company, besides further strengthening of the position of the firm in the market.
It is also worth mentioning here that BE Broadband has already a noticeable presence in the country's wholesale market with the support of O2 Telefonica.
