The renowned broadband provider, BE is all set to launch its super fast FTTC trails very soon. This is one of the major steps the company is taking to improve the broadband services in the country. In a recent announcement, the provider confirmed its plans to launch a ultra speed fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC) trial. The much-delayed trial program, is currently to be launched at Barking telephone exchange located at Greater London, at last. The trial is expected to be on track by November end.

The trial will be based on the Virtual Unbundled Local Access (VULA) through BT Openreach. BE had failed to create an unlimited and un-throttled solution through BT wholesale. Virtual Unbundled Local Access will enable the broadband providers to offer services through next-generation network of BT. Although BT will retain the majority of the pricing controls.

Be Broadband said that the company has shortlisted customers for the trial service. The prepared shortlist includes 25 customers at the Barking exchange. These customers will be contacted by the company very soon. The participants of the trial could get better broadband services. As per the recent indications, they will be receiving more than 10Mb upload speeds and download speeds from 37Mb to 40Mb.
