Be Broadband, one of the leading broadband providers operating in the United Kingdom has obviously come forward with a refreshing news for the potential buyers of a landline connection. This is all about an announcement by the ISP that it would be soon launching a fresh landline service that is considerable cheaper than that of BT.

The broadand service provider seems wanting to keep things pretty simple, owing to which its landline packages would be tied to the duration of broadband contracts. Nonetheless, still the contracts will not be renewed then onwards without the customer's prior consent.

Be offers the customers three landline service packages to choose from - GBP 9.50 basic landline package, Evening and Weekends Package priced GBP 10.50 and Anytime landline package priced GBP 13.50. It is worth mentioning here that the BT charges, GBP 13.24 for their equivalent to the first two Be packages, and GBP 18.23 for the last one.

With the Be landline only deal, customers are only required to pay for what they called. Meanwhile, the Anytime package offered 3 calls to the numbers in the United Kingdom with 600 free minuted to more than twenty countries additionally.

Be Broadband that holds the credit for the first broadband provider in the United Kingdom to deliver ADSL 2+ services has their own reasons to think why their landline packages would prove winners in the UK broadband market. According to them the main reasons given towards this have been that the landline and broadband bill was rolled into one and there was no need to pay for calls as well as the add ons if they did not require them.

The managing director of Be Broadband, Tom Williams said that they have responded to the requests made by their members towards providing landline service and have delivered the same in a way, which focused on providing control to the consumer on long contracts, automatic contract renewals, and bundling of features, which increased the cost.
