Be sets target for its LLU network expansion

Friday, March 7th 2008

The major ADSL 2+ broadband provider, Be There (Be Unlimited) has announced its target of unbundling of exchanges for the next quarter. Accordingly, Be will add over 400 exchanges to its existing LLU network. After unbundling these exchanges, Be will have their coverage in UK increased to 67% of the UK population.

When it comes to high speed broadband, ADSL 2+ technology offers up to 24 Mbps download speed at affordable costs. For instance, Be’s entry level package ‘Be Value’ offers 8 Mbps download speed and 1.3Mbps upload speed with unlimited download limit for just £14 a month. Other two packages – Be Unlimited and Be Pro offer up to 24 Mbps download speed. Be Unlimited broadband is one of the cheapest, high speed broadband packages available in UK and the package costs just £18 a month while Be Pro which offers 2.5 Mbps upload speed along with 24 Mbps download speed is an ideal option for those who may upload large amounts of information.

Be is currently owned by O2 Telefonica. O2 launched its own products last year and the excellent quality of these products has helped O2 to enter the list Top 5 ISPs announced by Epitro recently.
