Be packages are cheaper now

Earlier Be revamped its packages. Its basic level broadband package Be Lite was renamed as Be Value with no monthly caps and reduced download speed (from 24 meg to 8 meg). Be broadband provider did not stop here but went on making significant reductions in the prices of other two packages – Be Unlimited and Be Pro.



According to the latest update, the monthly cost of Be Unlimited broadband which offers 24 meg speed and unlimited monthly usage allowance was reduced from £24 to £18. Although Be customers were provided with a free dynamic IP, they had to pay £4 a month a month for using a static IP. However, from now on, the same package will offer free static IP in case you need a static IP.       



The most expensive Be Pro package will be available for £22 a month instead of £40 a month. Be Pro offers 24 meg download speed and 2.5 upload speed using its Upload Plus technology.  Perhaps, Be Pro is one of the cheapest broadband UK packages that offer this much upload speed. As with Be Unlimited, one static IP address is free with Be Pro.



However, Be customers will have to pay for getting email addresses - the email bundles will still cost Be customers and are available for home users and businesses with different prices.



Be broadband says that the latest prices will come into effect from December and both the new and existing Be customers will be benefited by price reductions. Currently, Be, the subsidiary of O2 reach nearly half of UK households using its LLU network and has more than 30,000 customers.
