Need help to extend our wireless internet connection
Hi,

We live in an apartment that is a double storey house and think about to use wireless broadband all the way in the rooms. We use Netgear wireless router which is currently configured in our single storey rental. Can we use the wireless connection to include the rooms in the double storey? Or do we need to use Ethernet cable to do this?

Thanks.

You can use an ethernet cable to extend the wireless connection from down stairs to upstairs. You will also need another Access point for upstairs.

If you use antenna, it may not transmit the signals to the rooms in the upstairs so you will need Access point like linksys wap54g access point for using the wireless in upstairs.
