WiMAX and mobile broadband

Which can provider reliable speeds ? WiMAX or mobile internet? It seems 3G mobile based internet is becoming popular. However, the package prices are not cheaper. FREEDOM4 offers WiMAX pacakges. Anybody knows how much speeds they can offer and cost details?

I would personally go with one of the BT Total packages.
