Question of health and wifi use
I apologize for raising this issue which has already been answered in this forum but I feel there are certain questions still left unanswered. I am in fact talking about the health hazards involved in using wifi. Many say, there are home appliances like micro oven that use high frequency signals and rarely they produced the amount of confusion as wireless internet use.

There are conflicting surveys, results and opinions and this leaves many like me who think health is of greater importance than new technologies in a helpless state.

ISPs and government should come with actual facts on this issue.

Some report an unusual sensitivity to the waves emitted in these hotspots. Officially, the levels of WiFi electromagnetic radiation emitted into the environment in a hotspot are well below recommended levels and there is no evidence of any risk to humans. Yet some people blame Wi-Fi exposure for everything from sleep disturbances, headaches and blurred vision, to heart and breathing problems.

Excessive use of wifi enabled laptops can cause health related problems so users are advised not to keep them on their laps when they use wifi to go online. Children could be the victims so it is better not to encourage them to use wifi networks.
Still, wifi is useful when you are away from home or office. You need to just use wifi hotspots to send or receive mails and get in touch with people. So, it's how we use matters most as we cannot keep away from this marvelous technology altogether.

Even without wifi connection, it is always better to keep the laptop on a table when you are working. Keeping any electrical or electronic device contact your body while they are working, is not advisable for safety reasons.

A year or two ago, there was a news about a Dell laptop which suddenly started to burn when it was being used.

Laptops generate heat while they are running so it is not advisable to keep them on lap while working. It may not burn or blast, but it is certainly not good from the health view point.

I use laptop which is provided with wireless broadband connection. I have never thought about the health risks involved in use of wifi enabled laptops or mobiles. I would suggest moderation instead of refraining from using wireless broadband with laptops.

When you work, don't keep the laptop contacting your body as the intensity of radiation could be harmful to the body.

This is highly dangerous if these are giving off radiation that could possibly kill us, if alot affects us, shouldn't they be a product recall. If someone gets really ill from this they could potentially claim alot of money from this company.
