My wireless broadband disconnects frequently
I have wified my computer recently and I use a wireless router supplied by my ISP. It was preconfigured and did not have any connection problems in the beginning. However, for a couple of days, I am getting disconnection problems.

After five or ten minutes, I get disconnected and had to reconnect. The problem is my wireless connection does not continue more than ten minutes.
I am in a fix as I could not understand what happened. Is there any hardware problem or should I call my provider to fix it? Has anyone of you had this kind of problem?

I would appreciate if anybody offers some useful help.

You may go out of wireless signals resulting in disconnection. However, if it happens frequently, every 15 minutes, as you say, there may be something in your room that is blocking or weakening signals.

Check the following things:
1.Do you keep you PC/laptop very close to wall? If so, keep it away from wall.
2. You have electric appliances like micro-wave oven, television etc in the same room where you have wireless connection. Micro-owen uses the same frequency 2.4 Ghz and can cause disruption of wireless service.
3. Check your settings in wireless router. If they are not properly configured, you may not get hassle-free connnection.
4. Check whether settings in your OS are correct. If you do not know how to configure the settings, ask for help from your ISP or some technical expert. You can also visit Microsoft Help & Support if you use Windows XP.
