Presently, Pipex has been testing WiMax services in areas like Warwick. The latest news is FREEDOM4 is going to expand the WiMAX network of Pipex to other areas under the brand name - FREEDOM4.

As this technology is still at its infancy and has been undergoing its test period in UK, the quality of service is yet to be ascertained only by survey and opinions of customers.

Personally, I feel, wireless broaband has its own pros and cons. No doubt, more and more people are looking for this technology which is a great solution for the people who are on move.

Well i have heard theoretically that it will be able to reach speeds of about 75mbps and the standard Wi-Fi can only reach high speeds of up to 11mbps.There is a huge gap hope this helps.
