Three announces mobile broadband in the UK
Mobile company Three has today announced its new mobile broadband packages.

Its offering 3 packages the first for light users at £10 a month giving 1GB of mobile data, £15 a month will give you 3GB and finally £25 for 7GB, extra data will be charged at 10p per MB. A USB modem is also available for £29.

This seems more expensive than the similar offering Three offer in Ireland but may give people who are out of range of ADSL or Cable a chance of faster internet access.

I think they will be a failure as they are not offering any unlimited pack which is required by most of the users.

Its not meant to be a replacement for phone line provided broadband for most people its meant for people on the move or those who cant get broadband any other way.

And considering very few people are on an "Unlimited" tariff even on phone line provided broadband them not having one is hardly a show stopper.

Also considering there are people who spend hundreds of pounds a month on Mobile data that would easily fit into the limits 3 are providing it will save a lot of people a lot of money.
