Connection Security is there?
I want to secure my wireless broadband connection from being used by unauthorized person in an open type connection.Any one know about it please inform in detail.

WEP that is Wired Equivalent Privacy encrypts data before transmission. This provides greater security and privacy.

Thats true. All Wireless Stations need to use the same settings. WEP Security Encryption A 64 or 128 bit WEP security connection will prevent other Wi-fi users from getting in.

WEP is also providing the same level of security as that of a wired LAN.So i feel it is really a reliable entity

Yes security is first than everything else. it is really important for me to safeguard all my information in my system.

Can't say that Wep would give complete protection for your wireless broadband connection. There is a question of pharming. I dint think about it..

Hmm yeah. Here your router settings can be altered so that when you visit important sites like bank or paypal you will be automatically redirected to a fake site.

Yes, you are right. WEP keys are not so protective. A hacker can hack into your network if he likes to. No-a-days, it has become hard for people to stop hackers.

Hackers hack our PC easily with the help of mails.They just send us attractive mails and when we open it our PC gets hacked by them.
