Since I too have heard that it can happen, but have yet to meet anyone who has been affected by it, I would not worry about it too much. You are going to be exposed whether or not you are the one on the computer. There are radio waves floating about us all the time and this has been going on for more than you know, so if you are going to be affected it is not necessarily direct use that will cause it. There could be other things in the environment that might cause problems in those areas as well not just WIFI and Cellular use.

There is no hard evidence for any of this, which suggests that using wifi is really just as dangerous as pointing a tv remote at someone and pressing a button.

Thanks for the add in Tom, I did not even think about how often children use remote controls for their television. So that is now added as well. Until I have concrete proof and even then I still would not worry about, you never know what is going to kill you anyway.

No tom remote controls use infrared and that too used occasionally but wifi has high frequencies and they are used all the time so they are dangerous.

Mobiles are harmful as well as they also radiate a lot of harmful radiations so everyone should try using hands free and keep your mobiles away from you.

How can you say this? Wifi is spread around a certain area, whereas the infrared light from a TV remote is concentrated!

You say wifi is dangerous, where is your evidence that it causes a significant health hazard?

But has anyone hear stopped to think about this one. Whether or not you directly use any of these things, the waves are still out there and expose you to them. So at least if it is going to damage me I may as well get some fun out of it.

After all it is not the only danger in the world and until science shows me that it is killing me, I will argue that it is not any more harmful than anything else you are exposed to on a daily basis.

Yes Wi-Fi can be extremly dangerous to children. After reading the telegraph report.

There are many safety precuations you can take do not allow children to place laptops on there lap. They should also take regular breaks from the computer to be safe.
