BT has launched a downloadable VOIP guide for businesses. Their "understanding VOIP" guide is free to download, but I found it annoying that you have to fill in your details before you could get that. (So BT sales can bombard you with calls/emails?)

I downloaded it and went through its contents. Whether you use VoIP at home or at office does not matter. In fact, the use of VoIP in office environment would require larger investment. But the benefits of VoIP in office are little understood by the corporate, especially SME in UK.

Apart from providing basic information about VoIP, this guide points out the prevailing misconceptions about VoIP as well as the benefits of VoIP services both in home and office.

This guide also tells what things you have to ensure before you pick your VoIP provider.
