Virgin consumer broadband beats BT Total

According to the latest financial results from Virgin Media, the major cable broadband provider ranks first as the largest consumer broadband provider in the UK. In comparison, BT Total, although outnumber Virgin Media's customer base, has both consumer and business broadband customers.

Currently, Virgin Media has more than 3.5 million customers, while the 4 million customers of BT Total also includes the business broadband customers.

Virgin Media might be the largest consumer broadband provider. But, BT is the leader in the UK broadband industry. BT's wireless Home Hub, 21CN, BTFon wireless society and BT Openzone's wifi vouchers are some of the unique features of BT broadband. I dont find much in Virgin Media's packages that attract me.
