Virgin changing it's Tech Support phoneline costs.

For those of you thinking of using the Virgin Media Broadband assistance be warned,the phone assistance used to be free but now costs 25pence a minute,the last time I used the service (pre charge)the operator from I believe a call centre took nearly 40 minutes to try and resolve the problem but was unsuccessful.

Why dont all companies offer free support?? I mean, you are paying them to serve you, whats the problem with giving us support?

Most of the comapnies offer free customer care services to their users in case of any problem comes as they want to retain their customers for a long time.
