XBox Live Flakey?

Has anyone else noticed that in the past few days Xbox Live has been very slow when downloading from the marketplace, and that the connection frequently drops when in the middle of the game?

It's been fine until recently, and I haven't changed anything on this end - is anyone else having trouble, or is it just Xbox Live acting up?

The Xbox supports voice chat through a headset, which is bundled with the premium package and with the LIVE starter kit also available separately.
