Despite being promised an upgraded router and assured that I would not receive the D-Link model again, it was a D-link that arrived!

I have generated several complaint numbers, asked repeatedly for a number to ring where I could speak to someone in authority, received no continuity of care and generally been treated shabbily by TalkTalk.

I see from the forum that the question of terrible service has been raging for 3 years. Can anyone tell me why this company can continue to show such lack of customer care?

I have been trying to cancel for 2 weeks now amd everytime I get to an advisor - advisor in inverted comments, as soon as I mention the cancel word I am put on hold, the line goes dead or I am transferred to another department that says they can't help.

like yourself, I am cracking up woth Talktalk, especially when it trips every two minutes. No chance if you are trying to buy anything over the net, forget about downloading music.

This company is pathetic! STEER WELL CLEAR!!! If you have already signed up you are guarenteed to be having problems. There is no point contacting there customer service number as you won't get through for at least an hour

I am out of contract with them and altough I have pnoned up countless times, been put on hold or cut off, email and letters unanswered I cannot get a mac no off them.

I work for Carphonewarehouse and I would agree that there have been some problems with Talktalk and the customer service. But how about the thousands of satisfied customers that we have, how about the pioneering way that we have set about the fixed line and broadband market in the UK.

I fail to see what it is about Talk Talk that is so revolutionary!! Except perhaps their revoltionary levels of bad service.

Talk Talk seem to be following the business model that ,sadly, many other phone companies are taking. That is, they concentrate very hard on inticing new customers with clever marketing and cut price deals but then fail to deliver an acceptable level of service.
