I want to know how secure is skype as I want to make my important business calls through it. Can the calls through be intercepted or not. Please tell me how secure is skype??

There are security threats in each network but we can't stop using them just because of this fear. Even mobile network is pretty insecure but still we use it. So we can use skype also.

The problem with this attitude is that hackers target the software and networks that are popular. I remember at work when we switched from Microsoft to Lotus the viruses went through the floor.

There is always security threats on all sorts of programs and software you use.However, you don't have to be put off by it as these are very rare and im sure Skype has good protection from interception as many people would not use it if there was many threats happening.Hence why its as big as it is.
