Online.
I was not online on skype for 2 weeks but still my friends told me that they could see me online. I logged out properly. What could be the problem.

You must have used remember me and automatically sign in option and some one would have connected to internet through your pc and it would have signed in.

Yes as stated above you must have ticked the automatically sign me in each time i log onto the computer.Or your Skype could have been hacked therefore, i recommend you change your password.
