Is satellite broadband worth the money?

I am really wild about broadband via satellite. Heard it is extremely good for huge downloads. I live in a place where only dial-up is available. Is it wise to spend a lot of money on a connection via satellite?

Broadband is a better option as compare to the dial up connection as it has a longer connectivity and better voice quality. It is not very costly also.

Is it worth the money? Well that depends on what you like to spend, how you plan to use the service, or how fast of a connection you really need. Along with where you are located.

For most people I think waiting a year or two would be better.

Satellite broadband is much costlier than the other modes of broadband.The satellite is mostly useful in the hill stations and the remote areas where the ADSL or wirelesss connection is unreliable.It is really helpful in that type of areas but the set up and installation is too high.
