Tesco
I never thought I'd say this, but Tesco Internet actually seem fairly decent for low bandwidth users. Their tech support is helpful, and their connection is pretty stable. Their email is reliable too.

I wouldn't recommend them for people who use the net a lot, but for those who just want to browse on an evening and check their mail / use IM, they're pretty good - and relatively inexpensive once you factor in earning clubcard points each month

Slower connections do seem to be more stable. Thank you for placing the information here for everyone to see. it is difficult to make decisions without hearing what others think.

Interesting, how many points do you get when you have their broadband. My girls has a club card and gets cash vouchers every months. Perhaps it can cut down the bill a decent amount.
