This shows how wifi hotspots are becoming so popular nowadays. Earlier, BT announced the launch of its wifi vouchers for its customers to get access to BT & FON hotspots in and outside the UK.

Anyone can say which is cheaper, BT or Orange?

A bad news is that when most broadband providers in UK are still showing a net growth in the number of subscribers, it must be a very bad year for Orange to have a drop of 10.3% in the ADSL customer base in the first half of 2009.

My probs started when I tried to upgrade to broadband. I have made 30 plus calls to the rip off HeLP line. To cut a long story short I am still being debited for my old dial up account plus the speed touch account. I am supposed to have broadband unlimited now but that is a laugh. The livebox died the day they did an upgrade and I have spent the last two months mad as hell walking around thinking about this useless company.

I can so relate to your trauma...
I cancelled my account with Orange in January , was told my line would be restored back to original state by February 18th, however, after a rediculous amount of calls and break downs

Thanks for the heads up. I have a lot of sympathy for you as I have been through something similar with a phone company. By the end I was so upset and frustated I had to get my mum to speak to them and pretend to be me. I think you are doing the right thing recording everything like times and dates. Good luck and hope you dont have to have that much to do with them for the rest of your contract.

I work in the orange call centre in Middlesbrough and I find it extremely unfair you tarnish all the members of staff with the same brush, refresing from the 'hating all the staff.'

I can understand people's frustration as I have made over 30 phones calls to Tech Support & Customer care and I am still without internet access after 8 weeks

I don't hate all Orange staff but find it really frustrating when they cannot speak English and do not return calls when promised. For love or money you cannot speak to anybody in England
