Router and switch
I'm new to networking and a bit confused over the use of switch and router. What are the differences between a router and a switch? What's a hub?

Thanks.

Hub is a device where many devices of the same network are connected. Hub directs the information to all PCs. However, Switch does the same thing except that it transmits to the PC the information that it needs.
Router is used to connect the networks and their main function is to connect a LAN to the internet. Most routers have switch and a modem integrated into them so it does multiple functions.
