Recommendations for router and wireless card
Hi,
I have Dell laptop and plan to get wireless broadband to surf the internet and to make VoIP calls. No plan to use it for gaming, networking or P2P.

Now, I need to buy a wireless network card and there are options to use Intel PRO wireless 3945 Dual band 802.11a/g 54Mbps Wireless Mini Card or an Intel 4965AGN Wireless-N Mini-card in my laptop. I don't know if it is an expensive option to go for this wireless card and how will it work for me.

Second question: Which modem or router will be the best? Linksys WRT54GL or Billion or Dynalink RTA1025W? It should be easy to setup and provide reliable connection. Currently I have a standard modem and need a router where it can be plugged to? Or should I buy integrated modem/router?

Any help?

thanks

Choosing the integrated modem/router with wireless card could be the best option. If your line has more noise or so bad, the expensive Dynalink RTA1046VW is good to choose, but it lacks many features.
If you want to find the cheaper one, go for Open Networks 824RLW. Billion 7401VGPM is reasonably priced and also has one VoIP phone.
