Which wireless router?
I am planning to buy a wireless router to suit my needs. For information, I have a fairly large house with four rooms. If I place the router and a PC in the drawing room, will I be able to access it from a client PC in my bed room which is 30 m away and separated by two walls and there is also kitchen on the way where I have kept a micro-oven.

Should I buy any special adaptor for better reception of signals?

Yes i would recommend you buy a special adapter as my neighbours router which is 10m away i can only pick up around a 9% signal, and mine is a state of the art Belkin router. So yes this would be necessary.

You can also use a TP link router with a Tp link PCI card. This worked well for me. It is also less expensive and you can save a few pounds.

I would also suggest DLink DI-624 wireless router and Asus p5n32 adapter in case you prefer wireless router to TP link router.

Tell me how which option worked well.
