Wireless
I have just purchased a Buffalo air station model. They have promised a range of 200 meters but giving a range of 50 meters only. can you tell me what is the problem?

200 meters is for ideal conditions, the average house is less than ideal and 50 meters is pretty good.

Basically anything solid can reflect or absorb wireless signals, electrical equipment that runs on the 2.4ghz spectrum such as microwaves and DECT cordless phones can disrupt the signal.

There are certain obstacles like walls and buildings and also some radiations always exists which interfere with the wifi.

Yes i mean if the signal can easily get to were you want this will range up to 200 metres.Some companys are crafty always read the small print to find out more.If there are many walls and other features in the way of the range this can prevent this from its full potential and limit this.
