Wifi problem

When i use the wifi internet in my house, its really slow. My brother's laptop works fine, and its 5 times faster than mine. Our wifi both says the speed is 54 mbps. What could be the problem?

Just reinstall the drivers of your wifi card and see if there is some virus so use some good anti-virus.

What else do you have running in the background of your computer. How many process the processor is handling at one time can make the difference. If you have open programs close them and see if that makes a difference for you.

This does not seem like a problem with your Wi-Fi if its both saying the same speed.This will be due to how many programs GB memory you have left on your computer.Give it a good cleanup delete old programs, do a disc cleanup and defragment.Run all your anti-virus software and hopefully this should be okay.
