Modem default page not opening.

The default page of the modem is not being displayed even I have given the correct address 192.168.1.1 for my cisco router. What could be the problem.

Then you must have changed the default page. Factory settings are 192.168.1.1

I would recommend you re-set the router to its factory settings, as you have changed this in someway.Normally at the back of your Modem there is a reset button press this and this should do the trick.However, you will have to re-configure your modem again.
